The Manager – Sales & Marketing will play a key role in driving business growth, strengthening market presence, and building long-term customer relationships within the freight and logistics sector. This role goes beyond achieving sales targets - it focuses on delivering value-driven logistics solutions, expanding market reach, and supporting the organization’s strategic growth agenda.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across freight forwarding and logistics services
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders
  • Lead commercial negotiations, pricing strategies, and contract discussions
  • Collaborate with operations and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify opportunities and risks
  • Drive marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and market positioning
  • Manage key accounts and ensure high levels of customer retention and engagement
  • Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance insights for management
  • Represent the organization at industry events, networking platforms, and client engagement
  • Support the development of customized logistics solutions aligned with client needs
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to achieve high performance

Experience & Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related fiel
  • 6–8 years of experience in sales and marketing within freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain sectors
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  • Strong knowledge of air freight, sea freight, and end-to-end logistics solutions
  • Established industry network and client relationships will be an advantage
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong commercial and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Experience in pricing, tenders, and contract management
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
  • Leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring teams
  • High level of integrity, ownership, and accountability
