The Manager – Sales & Marketing will play a key role in driving business growth, strengthening market presence, and building long-term customer relationships within the freight and logistics sector. This role goes beyond achieving sales targets - it focuses on delivering value-driven logistics solutions, expanding market reach, and supporting the organization’s strategic growth agenda.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across freight forwarding and logistics services
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders
Lead commercial negotiations, pricing strategies, and contract discussions
Collaborate with operations and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify opportunities and risks
Drive marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and market positioning
Manage key accounts and ensure high levels of customer retention and engagement
Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance insights for management
Represent the organization at industry events, networking platforms, and client engagement
Support the development of customized logistics solutions aligned with client needs
Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to achieve high performance
Experience & Qualifications
Degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related fiel
6–8 years of experience in sales and marketing within freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain sectors
Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving business growth
Strong knowledge of air freight, sea freight, and end-to-end logistics solutions
Established industry network and client relationships will be an advantage
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong commercial and strategic thinking capabilities
Experience in pricing, tenders, and contract management
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
Leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring teams
High level of integrity, ownership, and accountability
