We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Air Freight Operations Executive to join a growing International Freight Forwarding Organization. The Air Freight Operations Executive will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of air freight operations, ensuring the efficient movement of cargo from origin to destination. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of international freight forwarding processes.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage air freight shipments from booking to delivery, ensuring compliance with all regulations and customer requirements.
Communicate effectively with customers, airlines, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of cargo.
Coordinate with the procurement and capacity management team to efficiently secure capacity and to optimize costs and maximize profitability.
Monitor shipment status and proactively address any issues or delays to minimize disruptions.
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including airway bills, customs paperwork, and shipping manifests.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, operations, and warehousing, to ensure alignment and seamless execution of operations.
Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continually improve processes and enhance efficiency.

Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in air freight operations within the international freight forwarding industry.
Strong knowledge of air cargo procedures, regulations, and documentation requirements.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in freight forwarding software and Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and schedules.
Knowledge of customs regulations and international trade compliance is preferred.
